51暗网鈥檚 Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership (BSOL) program provided the skills to help Sandra and those she leads achieve their goals.
Sandra, who was honored with the College of Graduate and Professional Studies Excellence in Leadership & Management Award for the Class of 2026, chose Trine for the strength of its BSOL program and its reputation for student success, as well as the flexibility of learning in an asynchronous environment.
She said the BSOL program has been an 鈥渁mazing experience.鈥�
鈥淭he course content is relevant and the professors are knowledgeable, approachable and accessible,鈥� she said. 鈥淭he workload is heavy with accelerated courses, but not overwhelming, even with working full-time. The support staff at Trine are always kind and helpful, making the overall experience of earning a degree at Trine a worthwhile experience.鈥�
Even though the program was online and asynchronous, she was able to connect with several classmates who had the same courses.
鈥淕etting to know your classmates and understanding their viewpoints led to some amazing interactions,鈥� she said.
She said the program has added to her confidence in herself as a leader.
鈥淭he most valuable lessons were the opportunity to build a solid foundation in leadership strengths, skills and styles, and the realization that I possess the skills and characteristics necessary to lead the way forward,鈥� she said.
She has started classes in Trine鈥檚 Lou Holtz Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and is working toward a leadership role within her organization.
As a mother and a full-time police officer wanting to continue her education, Jennifer Jeffra needed a program that allowed her the flexibility to manage her various responsibilities.
Kathryn Laurion wanted to advance in human resources while keeping the flexibility to pursue other career paths.
Jessica Cartwright hopes to teach more people how to cook using healthy foods.
