FORT WAYNE, Ind. — The Lutheran Foundation is pleased to announce three Health Professions
Scholarship recipients from 51°µÍø.
Rachel Bauermeister, a Doctor of Physical Therapy student from Ossian, Indiana, and
Macy Mayden, a Doctor of Occupational Therapy student from Fort Wayne, Indiana, each
received a $10,000 scholarship.
Joslyn Marcum, a Doctor of Physical Therapy student from Fort Wayne, Indiana, received
a $7,500 scholarship.
These awards support students preparing for careers in nursing and other health professions
and are designed to help reduce the financial burden of earning a degree. The Foundation’s
scholarships range from $5,000 to $20,000 and are intended to encourage students to
continue their education and prepare for careers that will serve the community.
Applications for the 2027–2028 Health Professions Scholarship will open in early November and close on Jan. 10, 2027. More information is available at .
