I am passionate about teaching language to empower students, connect cultures and open doors to new opportunities.
I began my journey at 51做厙 in 2019-2022 as an administrative assistant for TrineOnline. I returned in 2023-2026 to the main campus as the administrative assistant to the dean of the Jannen School of Arts and Sciences. It was during my time at TrineOnline that I discovered my true purpose: teaching my native language with passion and helping students understand that being bilingual is a powerful life skill.
Teaching Spanish is my purpose in life. When I teach, I feel alive, full of joy and deeply proud of helping my students grow and succeed.
Since 2019, I have been teaching English as a second language, and in 2025, I began teaching Spanish to the community at the YMCA. I also serve as a Latin dance instructor, sharing culture through movement and creating engaging learning experiences.
I consider myself a lifelong learner. I am currently studying my third language, Arabic, and I am committed to continuous personal and professional growth. My journey has taken me to Mexico, Dubai, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Canada, experiences that have shaped my understanding of global cultures and strengthened my passion for language education.
My goal as an educator is for my students to truly connect with others through language. I strive to expose them to the richness of culture so they can have a meaningful learning experience and feel inspired to continue engaging with the Spanish language beyond the classroom.
My purpose is to empower my students by giving them the gift of being bilingual and helping them develop a deeper appreciation for diverse cultures. I strive to create a supportive and inspiring environment where students feel confident, motivated and capable of connecting with the world.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy Latin dancing, traveling, learning new languages and cultures, working out, spending time outdoors, reading books that inspire wisdom and spending quality time with my daughter and family.
